B & M Development Properties, Ltd. (aka “B&M Development”) is a member of the family of B&M operating entities that specialize in acquiring and developing commercial real estate for long-term investment holding purposes.  B&M Development utilizes a special proprietary set of acquisition and development criteria in its investment model.  This model generally involves (a) the purchase of A+ situated retail-oriented land tracts, (b) which offer immediate development opportunities, (c) in markets and sub-markets where pre-leasing may be successfully initiated, and (d) with design lay-out capabilities which will simultaneously incorporate both shopping center and pad site formations on each tract. 

 

Dominion Advisory Group, Inc. (“DAG”) has been appointed exclusive brokerage and development agent for B&M Development.  Larry R. Baumgardner, CCIM is a licensed Texas real estate broker who is also a principal in both B&M Development and DAG.  This cross-pollinization of interests means that B&M Development is capable of acting very quickly in its decision-making process whenever candidate properties are being reviewed for acquisition consideration.

 

Within the last twelve months, B&M Development has acquired land for development in such locally based sub-market areas as far-north-central San Antonio, Bulverde, Castroville, and other locations.

 

B&M Development will also consider other types of non-traditional opportunities including: joint ventures with land owners, sale/lease-backs, bulk purchases of multiple tracts owned by the same Seller, acquisition of entire portfolios (which may include mixed uses), pad sites on a stand-alone basis, etc
